He has lost all his puppy fur so he looks completely different. He's a very happy and energetic dog and we couldn't be happier that he's here with us. ORIGINAL STORY: PAWsitive Channel and the SPCA International’s program Operation Baghdad Pups:Worldwide (OBP) team up to film the reunion of Sgt. Jacob Fisher and his dog. Fisher had recently arrived home from his seven-month deployment from Afghanistan, his 3rd tour to the Middle East. Sgt. Jacob waited nearly three months for the moment he would see Jax again. This reunion took place on April 24, 2015. Sgt. Jacob is on active-duty, a hero who continues to protect our freedoms and our lives. When he found Jax, only a puppy at the time, he knew he couldn’t leave him to fend for himself in the harsh and potentially dangerous streets of Bagram, Afghanistan. He had to save one more life before going home – and he did.
